Colors Are Energy
Each has a different wavelength and thereby a different energy contribution to any situation. Different parts of our bodies and environments absorb different colors to different degrees, which means that one color may have a very positive effect on an area (for example the liver) whereas another color may have no effect at all. A color could even have a negative effect (possibly depleting energy from an area).
But - Does each color affect each person the same way? No. There may be some generalizations that can be made. For example, MOST people consider the color RED to be energizing, possibly encouraging anger, OR not a soothing, restful color. But, to someone in a depressed state, the RED may raise them to a normal functioning level. And RED has been shown to have the entirely opposite affect on different people. For many years, the proportion of red cars involved in accidents was greater than that of other colored cars. Some people were shown to be drawn to the color (causing the accident) whereas others tended to either avoid or not see the color (also causing accidents).
